Deccan continue their slump
I’ve been really slack with posting and despite promises of “I’ll post something soon” I just have not had the time. That and my internet at home has been capped. This weekend was not a good weekend for Deccan Supporters. Losing to Rajasthan was cringe-worthy and the game against Mumbai on Sunday was no different. If RP Signh were my boyfriend I would cut off his balls. How can he be so CRAP this season [...]

Kane Williamson gets a call up
On a personal front, I love young teens who make it to the national side. The early exposure puts them under performance pressure without the excess need to perform. They always have the time to re-prove themselves lest they fail. If they fail. Most of them grab the opportunity with both hands gleefully. I sincerely hope young Williamson does so too. We are talking about Kane Williamson, who has been selected to play for the [...]

Shahid Afridi is over the moon
This just in. Shahid Afridi has been named as the Captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team for their title defense of the Twenty20 World Championship to be held in the West Indies later next month. Afridi, one of the most gifted players of the shortest version of the game, is notably one of the most inconsistent players of the other versions, but that does not matter of course. Another point worth noting is that he [...]

bat a little faster maybe?
Paddle Sweep Wrong ‘un # 6 Here is the sixth question in the ongoing series sponsored by Nokia and Kolkata Knight Riders. Do check out an awesome competition here. Its ridiculously easy to win KKR Goodies and match tickets. This question is regarding the last two games, against Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians. Despite having wickets in hand, KKR batted really slow, till it was almost too late. On the chase against Rajasthan, as well [...]

Deccan win with style, well almost
Interblogactic IPL Battle Deccan vs Punjab, Cuttack (home game) I know this is almost in the nick of time, but you got to do what you got to do. Deccan played the low in confidence Punjab team at Cuttack, and were pretty confident of the result. Which is what finally happened, but it was closer than the comfort zone. Deccan batted first, scoring a respectable 170 with Symonds top scoring with 53 off 38 balls [...]

Its ridiculously easy to win KKR Goodies and match tickets. Kolkata Knight Riders take on the Rajasthan Royals in a little while from now. The former has had a good start and the latter has had a terrible one. The question I want to ask here [...]

Should Ganguly bowl his full quota
Paddle Sweep Wrong ‘un # 4 Here is the fourth question in the ongoing series sponsored by Nokia and Kolkata Knight Riders. Do check out an awesome competition here. Its ridiculously easy to win KKR Goodies and match tickets. With the arrival of Chris Gayle, the chances of some foreign players are diminishing. Shane Bond and Charl Langaveldt are also fighting for their place in the XI. In such a case, do you think that [...]
