I spotted this on Facebook just now and I’ll be lying if I said I didn’t feel sorry for Adidas. I mean, really…..out of all the blokes you sponsor, KP is you best way of attracting attention? I see you also sponsor Harbajhan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar….why on earth are you using KP as a ‘show your support for KP and Adidas’. I don’t know anything about Adidas and I know that this is a bad move. Who is your copywriter and why is he/she not fired yet for running that advert?
Adidas used to be my favourite sportsbrand, all thanks to the band Korn, but now I am no longer sure how I feel about you guys anymore. I don’t think I want to be associated with the same brand that Kevin Pietersen is….

Or is KP just that unliked that you have to woo people with your brand to ‘show support for him’. Please tell me, I’m so confused, I really don’t understand at all. It’s a big risk since the only people who actually like KP are the Poms.

Anyway, Adidas wanted your attention, and using a picture of Pietersen was just the way to do it. Not only did you notice the add (thanks to Pietersen), you blogged about it (thanks to Pietersen).
