HAITI UPDATE from the USA:
My name is Greg Bennick and I recently co-produced a film called “The Philosopher Kings” (http://www.philosopherkingsmovie.com). The film is about wisdom seen through the eyes of custodians at prestigious universities. One of our custodians is from Haiti. His name is Josue Lajeunesse, and he works at Princeton.
I am helping raise funds for direct action to help Josue. He needs to get his sister who is still in Haiti to a private medical clinic outside Port au Prince.
He is also trying to get his daughter Danielle home from Haiti via the Dominican Republic. I want to raise $5000 for these things and for medical + building supplies and transportation for our upcoming trip with him to assess damage to and rebuild his village of Lasource when the road there becomes passable from Port au Prince.
