India vs.. Australia – 3rd Test – Day 2

F S Kotla, New Delhi

Now in : Ganguly Dismissed, India 444/5 at drinks, session 2

Gautam Gambhir finally departed from the scene after playing the innings of his life. He got out on 206, but the focus was on his incident with Shane Watson yesterday. Sunil Gavaskar was all gaga about his white-man bagging and how only Gambhir would get punished and not Watson. Take a look on YouTube and decide who was more guilty – the ‘provoker’ or and ‘reactor’. In Sunny’s words:

The subcontinent players have to just err a little bit and their ears get tweaked

No matter what happens, the above doesn’t matter to me. What matters is the number of runs you score and Rajasthan Royal or not, Watson will never score 206.

VVS is still here and looking good. The bowlers are looking shit. 600 is on the cards. R.I.P.Punter (and his bowling)
