Ganguly as skipper?

As mentioned in the post in which I requested you to don the role of KKR Coach, this is the first in a set of questions for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Last season, John Buchanan proposed the multiple captain theory, something which was rubbished in principle by many experts and fans around the world. It was scrapped of course, and McCullum went on to lead the Knight Riders in their worst season ever.
This season, under the guidance of Dav Whatmore, the team from Bengal look to do things the proper way. With Saurav Ganguly back as skipper, things are looking good on the fan-following front as well.
Which brings us back to my preseason question:
Should Saurav Ganguly have been made skipper for IPL 2010? Support your answer with reasoning.
If you believe that yes, it is a good move to bring the stalwart back as skipper, let me know.
Or, if you feel that McCullum or Gayle or any other man would have brought in more perspective for the job, just say it.

Oh my god!i have seen again a tremendous captaincy from dada..dat’s why he s a no1 captian in any format..to restrict batting line up like veeru,gambhir,warner,collingwood,dkarthick s not a joke..really temendous come back from dada and his boys..the way dada used and rotated all boys was outstanding..and his involvement n fielding..what can i say about dat..every youngstar should have to learn a lot from him…even though mathews conceeded many runs in 1′st over he again believed him and given another two overs..dat was really amazing dada..really Guts should require to boost team like KKr..to be frank KKR s the best team but things have’nt gone well till now because of lack of good local bengal players.dat was proved n yesterday’s match..really terrific bowling from dinda..the way he bowled was outstanding..even though we have commanding batting line up like dada,gayle,mccullum/hussey,tiwari,mathews,saha..local bengal players should hav to rock like n yesterday’s match dat’s important..anywayz…really dada u r outstanding..once again u proved as match winner..Go dada go..korbo lorbo jeethbo…

Dada has got a superb head on his shoulder & as a captain he is as cool as cucumber. He is the best captain I have ever seen. He is in a tremendous form this year. But he needs support from other members of the squad as cricket is a team game not individuals, so all other players should pull up their shocks as soon as possible.

As a skipper Saurav Ganguly doesn’t really need any approval, his strong statistics speaks for themselves. His class and level of captaincy is achieved by no other Indian cricketer so far.
Sourav is the best man in the squard for captain because he has experience and the passion to fight. So dada is the best captain.

Maculum should hit 4 rest of the match.
Dada is excellent captain in all time.In ipl matches,kkr side i feel only one man playing that is dada.
what about other player contribution,involvment .
Mccullum should open innings.He is not comfortable with middle order.Dada can manage any where and hit sixes.
Mathew should be promoted top in the order.
Dada performance only not enough.Others too need contributribution.

If Mccullum is not replaced by Brad Hodge, then he should atleast be asked to keep wickets while Saha can be replaced by Rohan or karthik. Pl. don`t include the novices viz. Iqbal who needs two drops to reach the 22yds distance thus disgracing the team and Unidkat or such untested players.Manoj should realise that he can not score a 0 in every alternate match and yet be in the playing eleven. Chris should be warned not to try dancing down the pitch in the first 10 overs to see his stumps castled by the wk. And finally, all the players should realise that its a must win match and put up their best of best efforts. Dada…. u know, the umpires
( Indian ) are under the influence of BCCI selectors/administrators to raise their index finger at the drop of a hat when it comes to his wicket and should take his guard on the imaginary 4th. leg stump.
Am sure with his dexterity on the Offside , it should not affect his game while his sheer presence on the wicket will make the team bat better while the opposition will be terrified.
Dada…. Pl. lift the team yet again and prove that u r the best!!!!!
