Interblogactic IPL Battle – S/F Onwards Rules

by Ankit on April 21, 2010

in IPL

The Semi Finals are among us, and four teams would not be continuing the IPL Journey beyond this point. Interestingly, the IBIB Points table is not exactly a replica of the IPL Points Table. Here are both:

First of Two, the IPL Table:

Second of all, the points table for the IBIB till now.

See the difference. Some great fan support by the KKR guys had them propelled to the top spot. Too bad the team did not qualify. This might change a lot of things. Or maybe not.

Presenting the new rules for the semi finals.

And yes, I was just kidding. It will make a difference. KKR might not win the IPL Battle.

The major change in the rules is that the losing team would not get any points.

Yes, you heard it right.

Here is the system:

For winning team’s blog

Points

DLF Maximums

6* no. of sixes hit

Wickets Taken

25* no. of wickets

Wickets in Hand

20* no. of wickets

Runs Scored by MoM

2 * runs

Wickets taken by MoM

5 * wickets

Catches taken by MoM

10 * no. of catches

Note that there are no points for winning or strike rates or economy rates. KKR can still win the IBIB. Now go figure.

In case the MoM is not from the winning side, the winning side do not get the points. (i think that was obvious)

ANY QUERIES LET ME KNOW

So ideally, for me to win the IBIB, MI must get thrashed by BRC today. And I’m an MI supporter.

Conflict of interests.

Can you please let me know of the Logic behind me having 3 % of total votes when I have 46 votes and at 49 votes one has 5%, I am sure 3 votes can’t set in a change of 2% when over 1000 votes have been cast, and in the poll it shows i have 2 % :O

Please do rectify this and update the points table !!

Cheers!

I guess now only two huge wins for DC or CSK can prevent APU from winning this!
