Anybody who is part of the Twitterati knows that I’ve been giving poor little Kevin Pietersen a very hard time on Twitter. I really don’t dislike him at all, I’m just irked by him and I know that he gets wound up pretty easily so I’ll give him a hard time. It’s nothing more than that, really.
I grant KP all the success in the WORLD playing for the English side, I’ve expressed I feel about him leaving and opting to play for England numerous times. I’m fine with it but, if you know me even vaguely, you will know that I love stirring shit so when KP signed up to Twitter, I took every opportunity I got.
From asking him why he has a picture of himself playing cricket on one of Cape Town’s beaches to chirping his grammar, whatever, I prodded and prodded. So, it then came as no surprise when I saw that Kevin Pietersen had blocked me from following him on Twitter.
Oh, KP….really? I guess it’s okay, after all, Twitter is nothing but a virtual high school for grown ups. Get over it, like we got over you leaving us, mate. It’s not that bad, I forgive you, I promise. And I am quite sad that you can’t join the RCB for the Champions League over here, we would have loved to have you back home to watch you play because despite everything, you are still a classy player and not even your galactical ego can change that.
