Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past few hours, you are well aware of what’s going on in the cricket world. It has been rocked to its core by match-fixing allegations involving Pakistan. I had a chat with Poshin from Poshin’s World about just how stupid we feel.
Below is an e-mail I sent on Friday to a couple of mates who work for a cricket website. This after Mohammed Aamer bowled so terrifically against England. I really am terribly disappointed. Above is the reply after tipping off a couple of journo mates of mine as the news was breaking. PS – these are real e-mails, this is not satire. It’s all legit, I am trying to highlight just how severely disappointed I am.

It would appear that for all his talent, Amir is a rather large idiot.
Thanks to Ant who tipped us off about the breaking news. We’ve done a story about it but it will probably need to be updated as events are sure to develop during the night.
Any bets on whether there will be play today?

Take a breath Ant. You are not the only one who came across looking like that! You might know, about all those tweets I was sending out on Friday afternoon, when Amir was bowling so well… Who knew it then? May be Majeed, for he knew everything all along!
I know. And I know all cricket tragics know how I feel but really am heartbroken over Aamer.
