- Is it because they are unhappy at allegations about their real age?

It seems that the reason is India. Of course!
India, ahem, the BCCI has drafted a Future Tours Program from 2012 to 2020 and it supposedly does not include any bilateral series with Pakistan. Government directives, maybe. Pakistan is obviously pissed. If there is no series with India, there is less money, there is less passion. No, I think it is just about the money. The passion is long lost.
