As things stand now, Ganguly is the only batsman in the KKR team who has shown some degree of cosistency in batting.Till now he has scored more than 350 odd runs in this years IPL.I wonder what cricketers like Brendon McCullum, Hussey, Wriddhiman Saha and NOT FORGETTING Ishant Sharma have contributed for KKR?I think it is high time Ishant Sharma is sent back home.
Take batting first and tell to Ganguly an inspiration captain to talk singles after getting boundaries.that make gayle to batting and get more score in batting power play.once the runs flow came.then we get more runs make our win easyyyyyyyyyyy

It is true but in the KKR he is FLOP Captain He Should give up from the captain ship.& leave the game.
no man. its not a right decision because captain is not only responsible for the loss.
if we win the toss we should bat in rest of matches…. because we are a better and a confident team while batting 1st.. we never chased a target above 137 in this ipl… if we bat first the players have the license 2 go for the kill… everything is going well 4 the team… so if eerything falls into place then we will win… last three matches we had a good score above 180… which is cool… so dont experiment.. coz if u keep it simple,we will get dimples……. best of luck

In my opinion, its better to bat first by d KKR n get some good score on the board …….then they can easily put d batsmen of the opposing team under pressure…..the bowlers of KKR like shne bond,karthik,agarkar,gayle etc are god for this tactic……so try to take batting first and get some good score n put the batsmen of the opp. team under pressure by having great bowling performence as well as feilding by the team members…thus we can have a nice victory..
Hard times comes for every player in this season & we cant tell in one match that this is of no worth,but in T-20 there’s no space of breath ..so we can’t get boundaries we shd rotate the strike and attack the loose balls…
well if kkr wins the toss and elect to bat make 9 per over run rate
if RCB wins take early wickets restrict them to 150

Much needed win for kkr, Nothing like a win to undo the disappointment of our match against the Kings XI Punjab … where we perished despite a 200-run total. The Kolkata Knight Riders’ win over Delhi, on Wednesday provided just the impetus we needed to boost our morale. This time too, we clicked as a batting unit and put a formidable total.
Credit be given to our bowlers who contained the dangerous Daredevils, in this match. Without a doubt the toss too played a part in our victory, because the advantage on the Eden Gardens pitch at times is with the team that bats first.
ganguly batted well,our strike bowler did an effective job in the place of shane bond,Dinda who was supers with new ball last match,last match mendis play place on bond he bowl superb so little bit confusin choosing with bond and mendis today match, so choose depened on conditoin of pitch,

the change must be betwen A.Mandis AND S.Bond.Disgusting team selection. AND the team management is also poor,we can not expect to them. they can not take the proper decision at the right time.
After winning the toss, ganguly should start the opening with gayle and let gayle to do the attack. later on ganguly should go for attack. this would make a big score depending on middle order if they got a chance. so make a good middle order
bat first.bcoz rajasthan never lost a match while score more than 150.and do send mccullum as an opener.ganguly is good in middle overs.and dont give the ball to spinners when yusuf is there.dont pick ishant in the team.u loose half the match after picking him nly.

Its depend on the pitch condition but if you talk about the eden gardens then obviously he must choose to bat first because you could give them a good score to chase which makes the pressure on the opponents and 2nd thing is the audience will be yours they are very helpful at the time of bowling to create a good pressure on them if you take batting first .

Throw away Agarkar from the team… He is the culprit.. He takes the responsibility to loose the team… he had earlier done this to indian Team now he is doing to KKR
If KKr wins the toss,they should try bowling first because they have got good batsmans in the side and if they play sensibly,they can easily chase a total of about 180-200.
Thus I recommend KKR to bowl first and restrict them to a total of about 160-180.They also have good bowlers like dinda,shane bond,langevelt,agarkar and spinners like hodge,gayle and m.karthik,So go bowl first and restrict them to a total of160-180 and bat sensibly and wrap up the matches.

It will be exciting to watch two more teams added to the ipl. It means more foreigners and more Indians get to showcase their talents. It is refreshing to see Indians topping and dominating the highest run-getter & highest wicket- takers list. I think some of the spinners have bowled exceptionally well in this year’s edition. The way they have adapted , kept it tight and picked up wickets is just fantastic. Mishra , Ojha , Chawla , Harbajan all have done well for their teams and obviously aided by the slow nature of the pitches. This bodes well for the Indian team .
This event has not only allowed us to watch some good competitive cricket but also the chance to spot new talent.
Manoj Tewari (KKR) , Umesh Yadav ( DD) immediately come to my mind. Dinda ( KKR) has done well in the limited opportunities he’s had. Uttapa ( RC) has been unlucky to miss out on the WC.
Its been difficult for most of the franchises to select four foreigners . With two more teams added to the ipl i strongly believe the quota can be increased to five. It will only enhance the quality of the game and make it more competitive.
Always try to bat first and fire after winning the toss !!

It was a very satisfying and fulfilling day for me. The day started off well with manUnited’s unlikely victory in the closing stages of the match. I always believed they would score and they did. You should have seen some of distraught faces of the manCity fans. Despite all their riches they’ll always suffer from a inferiority complex . They will always be second best .This club gives me so much joy and happiness . The heart and soul of the club is so great & all thanks to Sir Alex for building such wonderful club. Rooney , Scholes , Giggs . Neville the way they celebrated after the match shows how much it means to them to be part of this great club.
Later in the evening , Chelsea’s loss to Spurs made my day even better. Fourth consecutive title does not look improbable . Last few weeks have been very difficult, almost nightmarish. Manutd failing to qualify for the CL semis, losing to chelsea , drawing against Rovers. But yesterdays victory showed the True character of Manutd. They never gave in and fought till the last minute and suddenly they’re back in the title race.
Talk of Sir Alex retiring is nonsensical. I just hope he carries on as long as possible and wins more trophies for the club. Two champions league is inadequate for a coach of his calibre. Im sure he wants to win few more before he decides hangs up his boots so that he can be called the ” Greatest Ever” .
In between KKR’s victory gave me considerable satisfaction. I felt happy for the owners because they have put in alot behind this and success has eluded them for the last two & half seasons. KKr losing does not make me happy , so i can understand & feel their pain.
I sometimes feel my personal insights of the game should not be shared with everyone . It should only reach the person/persons ( coach, captain & owners) it is intended for otherwise it can be damaging sometimes. i’m happy nokia has given us this platform to express our views !

HI KKR fans ,kolkata win our last match agains mumbai today and got 14 ppoint but poor runrate ki bina pe out of simis,again dada good knock,continess secont matchs before rajisthan,now mumbai bowler bowl very well,maine suru se hi kaha ki plz play eklake or jaydev for varitoin of bowling attck,coz one left hander pacer needed, and bond no, 3 but jab sab kuch chalaga so jage neend se ok koi baat nahi, best of luck next year IPL 4 KKR.
I was glad to learn that sourav has decided to give it one more shot at the title . It means additional responsibility . Following him closely in this years edition, i got the impression that he was slightly under- prepared for the event . Lack of adequate match practice was evident .
Preparation for next years IPL should begin without much delay.
1) to be better prepared he has to play the entire season and preferably open the batting in the shorter version for bengal. It would be even better if he opens the innings with tewari . Next year i would love to see these two open the innings .
2) another short-coming has been his running between the wickets. He has the entire season to work on that and im sure he’ll prevail. Its a important aspect of the modern game and it will only make him a better player. Hire trainers, specialists do whatever you can but fix the problem.
3) Overall fielding has been great, taken some stunning catches but it needs to be sharper.
4) another problem with KKR has been their over- reliance on foreign players. As a result the local players havnt got a fair chance. laxmi , tewari , dinda and saha have to be entrusted with more responsibility . sourav being senoir pro , work closely with these guys and get them mentally prepared for next year.
If sourav and tewari open the innings , laxmi should promote himself and bat at no. 3 followed by saha for bengal. Both are capable batsmen and should use the opportunity to score massively in the upcoming season.
5) It wont be bad idea for sourav to captain bengal in the shorter version. That would be perfect practice and conditioning .
I was happy to see Ishant being dropped from the t20 wc. He just 21 and has bright career in front of hm. just needs to plan out his career . My advice to him would be be
!) take a break & stop playing international cricket for a while. Go to england , bowl on fast conducive pitches . get bagful of wickets , get your confidence back . But most importantly get someone to monitor your progress. I can promise, you’ll be much more potent and lethal.
