What the World t20 taught me on Monday

by mspr1nt on May 4, 2010

in England, General Sweeps, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe

1. Political MPs from Sri Lanka are not allowed to bat higher than eight.
2. Mahela Jayawardene is pretty good. OK, he could be the new Tillakaratne Dilshan…or the old one…or his replacement.
3. Zimbabwe’s keeper keeps without pads. No shin pads either.
4. Zimbabwe like leading people on and making them believe that they can beat the big boys by beating Australia and
Pakistan and then making absolutely no effort to chase down a dismal target in a rain reduced match.
5. Injure Mahela, and you have taken Sri Lanka’s power.
6. Murali has a groin strain and is out of the tourney. Chris Gayle strained his buttocks the other day…does anybody else smell something dodgy?
7. You can take the South African out of South Africa but you still can’t teach the South African how to bat against the spin.
8. Chris Gayle can sometimes bowl.
9. KP is still an asshat twat.
10. It’s a VERY good thing the Windies got rid of John Dyson.
11. Mother Nature is a bitch and she hates the West Indies.
12. I really have to stop supporting the underdog.
13. Poached players are still the best English players.
14. There is justice in this world – the way England got “robbed” yesterday proved it.

T20 is going to tell you on Tuesday that mother nature is still a bitch.
