When will Sachin Tendulkar retire?

It seems to be a trend at the moment, this retiring thing. And we have none other than Shahid Afridi to thank for it all but when will Sachin Tendulkar decide to call it a day?

It’s not like his form is going anywhere.  He is playing some of the best cricket of his life at the moment and when he scored his fifth double-century in Tests on Thursday – one has to start to wonder whether he is retire? It has to happen some time, right? The day he retires will be a sad day, it will be like the Armageddon of the cricket world. We all know that cricketwithballs exclusively reported that the secret to Sachin’s success is the fact that he does not like cheese. But for how long can you resist the power of cheese? How long before Sachin just gives in and starts liking cheese? Will he then perish into the abyss of irrelevant cricketers? Will he be tossed aside and forgotten just like Shahid Afridi, Bryce McGain and Arjuna Ranatunga?

What if he never touches cheese, will he the play until he is old and grey and he has to get a runner for every game he plays and just count on his stroke play? Will he turn the wax statue of himself into an immortal robot so we will forever and ever have the pleasure of watching Sachin Tendulkar play?

What will life be like when Sachin Tendulkar retires? Who will we talk about? Who will we worship?

Answers are needed – and answers are needed now. When will Sachin Tendulkar retire and what will cricket-watching life be like when Sachin Tendulkar retires? I don’t want to think about it – it conjures up horrid images. Safe me from these dirty thoughts.

The real question: how bored will he be after retiring ? He is not retiring because it will be very awful life without Cricket. My father cried when he left his many years of Job, I never understood why ! I never will till I do at least 25 years of job and leave it for good. All Sachin knows is to play cricket, he is afraid of retiring, thats why not he is still not ready. Life is in fact tough after retirement if you are workoholic.

Either know your game of cricket or just shut up! You are no one to comment on a player who is compared to God when it comes to cricket. Sachin has redefined cricket. Indian cricket is soon going to be a deadly poisonous snake without its venom when Sachin retires.
